Die Geschichte über Lucy, die nach beruflichen Burnout Symptomen als Lehrerin eine Auszeit in einer kleinen englischen Ortschaft nimmt und dort - nach einigen Umwegen - zufriedener wird und auch andere Zutaten zum klassischen Happy Ende findet, ist ganz nett. Vielleicht habe ich bereits zuviele Bücher nach ähnlichem Strickmuster gelesen und wäre sonst geflasht von diesem, doch es blieb für mich etwas unmarkant bzw ich blieb leidenschsftslos Auch Spannung wird zB nur mäßig hervorgerufen. alles plätschert auf ein wohliges Ende zu. Gut zu lesen, recht gemütlich, aber in meinen Augen nicht hervorragend. Eine Empfehlung das Buch an Regentagen zu hören, um die Stimmung zu verbessern, würde ich geben! Angenehm ruhig gesprochen.
