Die Geschichte ist ein Festival an Traurigkeit und Schmerz. Jedes Mal dachte ich, ok, nun müssen wir aber endlich mal aufatmen dürfen und etwas positives lesen. Aber jedes Mal entwickelte sich die Handlung noch ein wenig trauriger.
Ich mochte die Frauenfiguren großteils gar nicht. Ich empfand sie als unangenehm schwach, fremdbestimmt und sich teils suhlend in Selbstmitleid.
Die Prosa ist schön, aber was sie vermittelt nicht.

Die Sprecherin klang zu Beginn sehr abgehackt, das wurde mit der Zeit besser (oder vielleicht hab ich mich dran gewöhnt). Sie hatte aber eine sehr angenehme Stimme.
