A power fantasy and his AI friend.
Haben Sie die Zeit genossen, in der Sie dieses Hörbuch gehört haben? Warum oder warum nicht?
The story begins with a epic space battle. The speaker narrates it with a dreamy mood like a walk in a summer rain - as if he doesn't really care about the atmosphere. The tone stays over the whole story.
After a while, you will be able to ignore the speaker and concentrate on the plot. The plot circles around a 16 year old boy telling how he becomes badass in geometric proportions and his AI that either throws witty remarks or is amazed at his ingenuity. Wow, he invented space mine fields.
At times, the story feels as a selfinsert fanfiction, but is somehow gratificating for people that like that kind of story, because the author doesn't go full out of the window and stays a bit underdog in the society he is thrown into.

The most interesting thing is what the Ancients are and how they are described. As uninteresting i would find the first 4 hour micromanagement narration, when it gets completely thrown away later.
Wen hätten Sie anstatt Vadim Pugachov als Erzähler vorgeschlagen?
Can't say it yet for russian-speaking narrator. Mr. Pugachev should work on his narration.

No, because most of the time it would be only the dialog between the protagonist and his AI.
