Such a great book..

Even though I was told that this was a good book it exceeded my expectations. Premee Mohamed is a fantastic writer and I liked the story a lot.

Great insight into extremists minds and a clash of idealism with real world scenarios

Low fantasy / scy-fi setting with an amazing and terrifying world to explore. As a former extremist i was shocked how good the author understands how extremists minds work as presented by one of the main characters without dehumanizing them. The other idealistic pacifist main character always catches me with his inner struggle, his compassion and his philosophy. Wording and prose of P. Mohamed is on another level. The characters in this book act like real humans instead of being a mix of walking quirks and clichees.
