This is a story rich in detail and with a plot I found extremely satisfying. This is not to imply that it’s predictable, it isn’t. We know early on what happened to the Earl, but not what developed afterwards. I appreciated that there are no highly unlikely or predictable happenings. Instead the storyline weaves an intriguing and realistic picture, before coming to a satisfying conclusion. Not a typical HEA, the wedding is long before the threads are tied together!
