Heroic bookseller Laurent Letellier comes across an abandoned handbag on a Parisian street. There's nothing in the bag to indicate who it belongs to, although there's all sorts of other things in it. Laurent feels a strong impulse to find the owner and tries to puzzle together who she might be from the contents of the bag. Especially a red notebook with her jottings, which really makes him want to meet her. Without even a name to go on, and only a few of her possessions to help him, how is he to find one woman in a city of millions?

What a wonderful heartwarming story! I loved every minute of listening to it. I fell in love with the chsracters and would love a part 2.

I loved the storyline

Sehr spannend nach u nach mehr über die beiden Protagonisten zu erfahren.
Schade dass wir nicht erfahren, wie die Liebesgeschichte weitergeht!
Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache, und Französisch nicht meine Paradedisziplin, deshalb musste ich gut aufpassen, weil der Erzähler Englisch teilweise mit französischen Akzent mischt, aber man hört sich rein.

Whose idea was it to give every character a French accent? The story is set in France. Everybody is French and thus speaking French to each other. I’m not sure I can finish this book because every time somebody speaks they get a fake French accent. It’s irritating.
