And I am really impressed. I thought this was a very clever plot with lots of twists and turns. The pace is slow but this somehow makes the story even better. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will read more from this author. Last but not least, superbly narrated!

Could not stop listening! The narrator was captivating and the voice was perfect for this book! The story was a classic Lisa Jewell mystery, full of twists and turns. Loved it!

I enjoyed the whole setup and felt suspense from the very first page on. But I had trouble connecting with the character of Tallulah, I just didn’t really come to like or feel for her. After the second third of the book I also felt like it was a bit too stretched and foreseeable but nevertheless it was a great story which I enjoyed listening to, especially because of the amazing narrator.

This one begins with the plot of countless other mystery/thrillers: a daughter goes missing, leaving behind a distraught mother who will do anything to find her. The difference here is in the vivid characters, in how Kim and Tallulah come to life. A compelling thriller, steeped in mystery and drama. Impossible to stop listening. Excellent narration.
