Fantastic Story, perfect reading performance!
I know the book, as I read it 3 times before I bought the audio version. now I listened 3 times to the audio version and it won't be the last time for sure! I just love the story and the reading performance!

Simply amazing
Everybody who claims to be a fan of high fantasy must listen to this audiobook. Not only is it brilliantly written, but also masterfully read. A true gem.

Great story. A piece of art.
Amazing use of words and language.
The story draws you in, swallows you and then opens your eyes to see a world beypnd immagination.

Good story, narrators voice is rather monotonous
I really enjoyed the story, except for a few less sensible parts.
But the voice of the narrator is mainly monotonous. The voices he makes for different characters are nice, but the rest of the story is one singular tone.

Outstanding performance
I have seldom heard such a good performance this was simply amazing. If a person would be talking in an outlandish accented way it was actually hard to understand them! Very emmersive

Wonderful story telling and great book!
Wonderful story telling, the narrator did a great job with the different voices. The story itself is gripping and I couldn't wait to start the 2nd book!

Großartig! Nur ein Pferdefuß...
Würden Sie dieses Hörbuch einem Freund empfehlen? Wenn ja, was würden Sie ihm dazu sagen?
Ein ganz wunderbares Hörbuch. Tolle Geschichte, tolle Figuren, fantastischer Sprecher. Das einzige Negative ist, dass es der Author mit dem letzten Teil auf sich warten lässt.

Amazing
Very impressive story with a dependable back and forth between 2 time frames. Good voice-acting by the narrator. In short a deep dive you do not wish to come out of.

Leaves you wanting for more!
Fast moving, entertaining story, with loads of mystery and suspense to keep you listening and definitely wanting to see the series through. Great for anyone enjoying a good fantasy novel that has some complexity but isn't too dense (i.e. in terms of the number of characters/relations among them and "universe" characteristics) to work as an audio book, which will inevitably often be listened to on the side. I am definitely excited to listen to book 2!
