    Great classic, but reader exaggerates

This early Gothic novel is a true classic, and the reader has a pleasant voice, but I find her fake French accents exaggerated and distracting. I would have preferred a straightforward narration. The style of the novel is already extravagant enough.

    Nice historic drama

Fascinating how similar people behaved and felt 250 years ago, compared to our time!

    Nicely read by Karen Cass.
