Fesselnd, überraschend und doch mit vertrauten Charakteren aus der Grimmschen Märchenwelt. Ein Muss für Fantasyfans .Ein Lesegenuss. Auch fabelhaft, dass der Autor selbst seine abgeschickten liest. Als Hörbuch ein großartiges und unterhaltsames Erlebnis. Ich habe mir tatsächlich beides gegönnt...Buch und Hörbuch

magical series that answers so many fairy tale thoughts and question that I had myself as a child (and when ever I thought about these stories).
Chris Colfer reads the characters with different voices, which makes it even more magical.

When I first bought and read this book I thought to myself: "Don't expect much, it is just another actor who got a book contract"
I was so wrong, he is a very talented writer with great imagination - I enjoy being wrong because his books enrich my life and my book shelf.

Die Geschichte ist fesselnd und für Kinder sowie Erwachsene super - insbesondere natürlich für Märchen-Fans. Es gibt aber nicht nur Anspielungen auf die klassischen Märchen, sondern auch viele Bezüge zu Geschichten, die im englischen Sprachraum verbreitet sind. So kann man auch noch einiges lernen.

Chris Colfer liest dir Charaktere wunderbar individuell und haucht ihnen Leben ein. Es gibt jedoch einen Punktabzug, weil er sehr schnell liest und es manchmal sehr gehetzt wirkt. Wenn man Sprecher wie Stephan Fry gewöhnt ist, braucht es einige Anläufe, um sich reinzufinden.
