One of the best fantasy series I know so far, political, interesting, scary, lovely, great character design and amazing reading performance. I loved every bit of it, was often moved to tears or had goosebumps all over. Especially in these dark times we face in reality atm, looking at how power dynamics have been in the past and seeing how things repeat themselves is important - this series is highly topical, even though it’s a teens fantasy novel. Full recommendation.
