More like a plot-script than a novel
Atmosphere (swiss? alps - whereas the police are 'french' ?! - could have been any mountain region, even scotland) and characters are very very weak. Reads like a plot-script, and lacks any depth.

Disappointing
Not even an excellent speaker like Imogen Church can make up for a really weak story. Take four nasty, superficial, mean characters, none of which the reader will be able to identify with and put them on a hike in the Swiss Alps. Add a sufficient measure of clichés and boring, repetitive allusions and you have the recipe for a very unpleasant novel. I didn't manage to finish listening...
