Story was nice and easy but the female narrator made it hard to listen. I was about to stop the audiobook, The male character was very good and she was better in the end.

I love Stephanie Archer so it‘s no surprise I love this book as well. It‘s a perfect little cutesy romance with the characters actually communicating with each other in a realistic and mature way (and of course tons of banter and sexy time).

The only thing that reallyy threw me of at the beginning was the female narrator - the whole time she sounds like she‘s either coming or crying. But tbh…you get used to it.
I still listened to the whole thing within a day.

It’s an easy listen and kept me engaged. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

And I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
I did not however like the female narrator. Her voice was shaky and nasal and she constantly sounded like she was about to cry or on the verge of a mental break down. Connor made up for it, fab performance as usual!

As always Stephanie Archer told a great story with great characters. All of her other audio books were great!! But this one unfortunaley not. I read the reviews and thought it couldn’t be this bad with the female narrator but oh my was I wrong. She really sounded like she was about to cry any minute and her overall performance was just not it. I am sorry!

It was easy listening to the story which is written in a captivating way. However, I agree with former reviews…the female speaker totally overdid it, acting her part. Emphasizing - more - than - a - few- words- all- the- time - over - several- sentences - is - quite - annoying. The whiny-voiced interpretation didn‘t make it any better. The male speaker was fantastic and did a great job.
