A Silva Masterpiece

Gewohnt actionreich setzt Daniel Silva die Reihe der Gabriel Allon Thriller fort. In dieser Geschichte trifft man auf viele alte bekannte Charaktere aber auch auf Neue. Zu alten bekannten Schauplätzen kommt hier Irland hinzu. Wesentliche Teile der Handlung finden in Belfast, dem "Bandit Country" und Dublin statt.
Gabriel erledigt "einen Job" für Graham Seymour, den Direktor des MI6; unterstützt wird er dabei von Christopher Keller, dem Ex-SAS-Mann, jetzt bester Mann im Dienste von Don Osati, der selbst eine offene Rechung in Ulster hat und im Laufe der Geschichte mehr als ein Homecoming erleben wird. Am Rande erfährt der Hörer auch wie es mit Chiara und den Zwillingen weitergeht und einige andere Fäden aus den vorangegenagenen Folgen werden auch fortgeführt. Das Finale der Serie ist wohl noch nicht erreicht...
George Guidall, der auch einige andere Bücher der Reihe vorgelesen hat, performt routiniert jedoch kein bischen langweilig.
