Geography that'll keep you up at night.
This is an audiobook I'll listen to again. Hopefully, before the world has fallen apart and I'm hand-cranking my phone because someone ran off with the remaining lithium.
I moved from South Africa to Germany a few years ago, and, based on this book, I'm almost wondering where I should move to next. Seriously, though, this is a well written book about subjects I've always enjoyed - geography, international relations, economics - and I'm infinitely more educated for having listened to this audiobook.
Interestingly, I originally ordered the paperback, but apparently, there was a paper shortage, and after a month or two, I cancelled that and purchased the audiobook instead. At the time of this writing, there is no known shortage of electrons. But... give it time.

Interessante Außenwahrnehmung Europas
Selten hat ein Autor die Schwäche der Globalisierten Welt ,der Grünen Revolution und die Hybris des greisen Europas besser veranschaulicht ,als Peter Zeihan.
Dem deutschen Michel gefällt das wahrscheinlich nicht ,aber das ist zum Glück irrelevant.

Geopolitics without pink glasses

Wish there was more on the effect of the digitalisation…
but it was a really interesting book and gave so many new perspectives on things. I am grateful that a colleague recommended it to me and looking forward to discuss it with people in my circle and see how it will inform my decision where to live in the future.
I wish there was more on the effect of the digitalisation and how it can possibly compensate the lack of young people in the world’s demographics.
Two complementary books I want to complete to get a more complete 360 view are Ray Dalio‘s book ‘principles for dealing with the changing world order’ and ‚Abundance: The future is better than you think‘ by Kotler & Diamandis (2015)

Excellent book
I'm from the older generation and spend my time in different political systems and continents. It is a pleasure to hear this profound fact and geopolitical analysis loaded book. Even if the author’s voice is sometimes a bit “irritating.”
It is recommended for everyone who wants to learn about the world's functions.
It should be a requirement lecture for politicians, bankers, and so-called “experts,” too.

Unglaublich detailliert und gleichzeitig allumfassend
Dieses Buch hört man nicht in einem Stück. Man muss die einzelnen Kapitel sacken lassen. Es beinhaltet einen super Überblick über die Welt wie sie heute funktioniert.

Enjoyable AND informative!
Without Peter's voice, this would have been a boring thing to listen to.
