The stoey wouldn't be too bad. The characters are easy liked.
But the writer clearly feeds off drama and it's just unbearable.
Every family needs to have pain in abundance.
In her view, every Irish clan needs this one rapist who gets his daughters and granddaughters pregnant.
And Catholicism is the great mean force.
I don't know where she got these two ideas, but Ireland has come a long way from all people being holy Joes and there is actually the odd Irish father who is not a paedophile.
Paula herself is sweet but stupid. It gets to you.
The narrator clearly only reads the text. Not without compassion, but she isn't doing a very good job.
All in all this series is more like a personal cruisade...
