I don't know. I've got 8.5 hours to go and there is now way I'm going to make it. I had such high hopes for this book. The premise was so interesting. The writing: flat. The production of this book: cheap. The narrator: a sleeping pill. There is no development in this story. It's a whole list of random anecdotes and jumps from one thing to the next without any coherency. Something about Mathilde. Something about the daughter. Then about the husband. Then maybe back to the daughter. But NO thread to keep you going in the story. I give up.
