Returning to town after a weekend on their ranch in Montana, James and Connor Andderson learn firsthand that the dead are coming back to life. As the virus spreads across America, the remaining survivors must band together to fight not only the walking dead, but the living as well. Their journey to the Alaskan wilderness is met with constant hardship, betrayal, and death. But as the world crumbles around them, they will come to realize they cannot lose what makes them human.

The Charakters are the most boring "redneck-prepers" I can remember in any Book of this Genre. In Addition the glorification of "American values" and Religion or better the trust in God without any interesting conflict in a zombie book is embarrasing.
Also the Idea that in just a few days after an Apocalypse organisieren Gangs appear that fast with such a good Organisation makes no sense.
Better buy another book.

This is particularly noticeable when he lets his characters talk to each other. Every rule of writing is simply ignored here.
Furthermore, one always notices logic holes and after a while one can no longer listen without getting upset about it. It's a shame because the story itself is pretty good.
Didn't anyone bother to read the material before it was published?
I don't want to leave any spoilers here, so unfortunately I can't give any examples. In fact, I hope that the writer of this series finds a good editor. As I said, the ideas are very good.
