Mir hat das Hörbuch sehr gut gefallen. Etwas Romantik, etwas Spannung. Für mich komplett neu war ihr Hintergrund aus einer Prepper Familie. Sie begeht aus der Perspektive der Familie Verrat als Kind, in Wirklichkeit rettet sie aber seine Schwester.

This was such a cute book. I love a small-town romance with an element of suspense and this one was just right for that craving and being able to listen to it and immerse myself even more into the story and the mystery made the experience so much better. I absolutely adored Hayes and Everly's relationship, both having been plagued with such a profound sense of guilt over something that has happened in the past to their families. I have to be honest though and say that I loved them even more in the other books - I feel like Hayes developed so much more throughout the other books - especially his overprotectiveness and how he deals with his fear of losing people he loves.

I truly enjoyed listening to this, it was such an addictive experience and I didn’t want to stop listening!

Good start to the series. There was nice tension between the main characters but the story surrounding them was more prominent than the romance. It was also a suspenseful story with a deadly threat to them which brought just enough angst to keep you interested. Very well narrated too.

Seichte Kost. Die Story selber ist relativ vorhersehbar, aber die Charaktere wachsen einem ans Herzen und ich fand es sehr schöne Unterhaltung. Die sexy Szenen halten sich im Hintergrund und dominieren nicht die Geschichte. Ich freue mich tatsächlich schon die anderen Bücher der Reihe zu hören, da auch die „Nebencharaktere“ gut ausgearbeitet wurden. Sprecher fand ich auch sehr angenehm.
