Die Tonspur springt leider an einigen Stellen wie eine alte Kassette. nervig!!! und bei den Kapitelübergängen läuft total unpassende Musik! die Sprecherin ist gut, die Geschichte trotz Kürzung spannend und gut nachvollziehbar.

I had many issues with this audio book; the random music tuning in and out again and the monotonous voice after being used to other productions of the Grant County series, just to name a few. All this keept me from really paying attention to the story and I was lost quite a few times. Will still continue to listen to Slaughter's stories, as I am far too invested in the characters to stop now.

The story was, as always, fantastic, showcasing the author’s signature style. However, the audio quality was disappointing, with poor sound and a narrator who didn’t quite do justice to the characters’ voices. Additionally, the book was a shortened version, which was a letdown, especially for the final installment of the series. I really hope the full version with the original narrator becomes available soon!
