Good but slow and a bit uneventful. I like the characters and the story as such is very good, but at times I had a hard time staying with the book. I will always read Val McDermid books because I like her writing style and the characters she creates, but I used to be more enthusiastic about her books. Could be me. Brilliantly narrated by Cathleen McCarron.
