This is one of the instances where I DIDN'T knew the book prior but I really wanted to read this one and when I saw it was Simon Dornet? Holy shizzles yes please and thank you! The book was enjoyable, nothing outstanding (just read the blurb and you'll know what you get) but the narration was as always amazing. Simon Dornet just has a knack for voicing Golden Retriever types of men and alphaholes. In a good way!!

Unfortunately the story is boring and full of toxic behaviour which isn't put into the right place but celebrated until the very end.

The main characters have issues but instead of building a story were they overcome their problems they stay happy in their sick patterns. There is no development in the characters and at the end there isn't even a story. It's just one strange sex scene after another.

The characters are lifeless, soulless and melodramatic.

Es gibt viele Sachen die für mich nicht gepasst haben. Ich finde beide Figuren sehr flach. Man erfährt kaum Hintergrund Beziehungen zu Familien und Freunden. Braucht man nicht immer aber hier wird ab und an drauf hingewiesen aber nichts erklärt. In den Endungen passiert viel zu viel zu schnell hier mehr Zeit mehr Gefühle wäre cool.
Es gibt einiges an 🌶️ aber auch hier m.E zu oberflächlich.
Die Geschichte war für mich durchgezählt und sollte dann noch 3 Stunden gehen. Ich habe mir die Leute Stunde komplett gespart da es immer toxischer und creepy wurde.
