Abducted from Earth over a year ago, Lauren spent most of that time getting accustomed to her new life as one of the "animals" in an alien zoo.

He's not interested in helping her, and he's definitely not interested in love.

The narrator giving so much more to the story. Reminds me other books read by same narrator but this was exactly enough for one story to explain before and after what happening and probably will continue with the series
