You can't just read a textbook.
I'm very disappointed from this audio book.
I know it's difficult to explain a programming language without pictures but I have heard books before that works and are giving basic knowledge about the programming language.
If you need further details or want to practice than there are a lot of tutorials on the web.
So all in all that's possible.
But this audio book just doesn't work.
The readers are boring and changing from section to section. Just stick with one!
Furthermore a lot of examples are left out.
I think without text in front of you its even more important to read alle the examples so you get a feeling for the programming language.
There are a lot of possibilities to make a book audiobook friendly even if it's based on images. It's not an option to say "like in table x or image y" without even reading the content of the table or the caption of the image. In other audio books pictures and tables are described what in my opinion is even better.
Maybe the textbook is fine but this audiobook is horrible! Its just a hopeless way to reach a bigger audience to make more money.
Make it audiobook or just leave it!
