Insightful and well-written
Fascinating book, not about World War II, but of our struggles and efforts to remember it by introducing us to 25 different WWII memorials all over Europe, North America and Asia. The analyses provided are always critical, but at the same time compassionate and erudite.
Read by the author himself, who has a pleasant voice and does an excellent job. Highly recommended.
