Although injuries sustained in combat resulted in the above-the-knee amputation of his leg—Nick not only remained in the Army, he returned to his Special Forces detachment and continues conducting combat operations to this day.

You hear alot of his Story but it's not the typical "Listen to my Career" Book. Lot's of it probably because Nick (the absolut Bad*ss) is still active duty.
What you hear is a absolutly detailed Account of how Nick overcame his struggle and made his way Back into active duty. And by detailed Account I mean, how his whole day was micromanaged up to the Point that really just his Body functions weren't managed as well.
If you just want to hear war stories, dont listen.
If you want the Personal Story of someone who actually did Something everyone said it's Impossible and pushed it even further by setting new Standards and so on. This is your Book.
All in all I really enjoyed to listen to it.
But listen closly, this is not a Manual to use 1 to 1 in your Life, but the mindset is.
