Über diesen Titel

Balancing fatherhood with other responsibilities and duties can feel like walking a tightrope. You don’t want to miss out on your toddler’s important milestones, but you must work to provide for the family. There isn’t time to go to the gym, have a date night with your partner, or just spend a lazy Sunday sleeping until noon. And while you’re spending more time at the office and less time doing the things you enjoy, your toddler never seems to run out of energy, has regular temper tantrums, and refuses to eat anything but candy. You love your toddler more than your own life, but their demands are endless. It’s overwhelming and exhausting. But does it have to be that hard? Is there a way you can be an amazing dad and still have time to go fishing or take your partner to the movies?

Luckily, there is. You don’t have to sacrifice all your time for your toddler and give up the things you enjoy. Of course, you still have to find a balance–your toddler needs a present and involved dad. But if you have a practical guide that offers realistic parenting tools and strategies, you can make your toddler, your partner, and yourself calmer and happier with enough quality time for all.

Inside, you will discover:

  • How to discipline your toddler with love and respect to help your child grow into a responsible and empathetic adult
  • How to manage your toddler’s tantrums, while encouraging their independence and confidence.
  • Nine fun and amazing play dates that will unlock your toddler’s creativity and imagination, and develop their social skills
  • Discover how to balance self-care with the demands of being a new dad with the T.I.M.E. method
  • How to stop feeling overwhelmed and unprepared with some easy strategies that will build your confidence and make you the best dad that you can be
  • The challenges and rewards of co-parenting, and how you and your partner can be the dream team

I thoroughly enjoy listening to this book. It offers many practical tips, although every dad might have to find his own way how to win the daily games with their toddlers when they refuse to brush their teeth or even get them brushed, get dressed, prefer to roll from the couch 10 times when a diaper has to be changed, etc. I had to laugh loudly several times to the stories described, and to find out that there many dads who experience similar ups and downs in the best role there is in the world - being a dad - is very relieving. Suggestion for the author: I would like to hear about the experiences, doubts, challenges, benefits, etc. of a family expansion, especially the transition from a first to second child, personal opinion on the age gap, etc. I think many parents have this dilemma. Looking forward! :)

I'm not alone in this! :)
