Mahathma Jyothirao Phule is one of the very first social reformers in the country. For the untouchables and the lower caste people in the 19th century, he fought against the system. He also worked hard in promoting education to the underprivileged and women. Apart from these, he has done a lot more works for the country that are mentioned in this biography written by Dhananjay Keer.
