The main character is so sweet and funny. Her problems are so real and deep. Her friends and family are so creatively captured and the reader is brilliant. Only negative is that Lucy is at times very childlike in testing Daniel and also very mean and Dan is too forgiving and should also think about why he puts up with that kind of abuse.

The main character isn’t very likeable — kind of an anti-heroine. I was annoyed with her throughout the whole book, and the narrator’s voice matched that very well. That’s why I’m unable to say whether the narrator is horrible or a genius…
