Simple, straight and universally applicable
Good for leaders in the military or business. Clear and easy to understand language that sticks. If you are leading a group you will find plenty of easy and and fast forward tactics you can apply in your day to day work

read by author is always great
perfect that it is read by the man himself. such valuable insights. it feels like every sentence in the book has super insightful lessons. It is presented in Jocko's typical clear and precise manner. The examples from his Seal experience are gold to get the points through.

Great examples to previous theories
Jocko does a great job sharing different examples an, as the book title well says, ‘field manual like’ guidelines when facing challenges as an employee or leader.

A treasure chest of simple but extremely valuable tips
This is the 3rd book from Jocko Willink that I’ve read and ingested. They are all really good but this really does provide both a foundation and an excellent quick reference to doing the right things, avoiding the mistakes and simply polishing up your behavior and skills to be a better leader. Very human, always fair and so true. Try not to see some of the leaders in your own experience who might well have made themselves better if they had also read this and acted accordingly. It’s a Gem and a must read for all levels of hierarchy.

Classic Jocko
If you know Jocko, you know what to expect. It goes into the same direction as Dichotomy of Leadership and Extreme Ownership, backing the principles with experiences from war and corporate world. It's a compact compendium, a field manual. 5/7 recommend

Sehr informativ
Mal wieder ein hilfreiches Buch von Jocko Willink das mir geholfen hat (als sehr junges Teammitglied) und Tiefgang und Takt besser zu verstehen und wie wichtig es ist sich selbst im Blick zu behalten und zur Verantwortung zu ziehen... In allem.
