I did like the detailed storyline that included Darcy‘s relatives. But I didn’t like the narrator, the extreme happiness of her voice as if everyone is laughing all day long was annoying IMO. I’ll try to avoid books she reads in the future. She’s not reading badly, but this constant smile was … ugh.

Caroline gets far too much freedom after all her offenses and crimes. I cannot abide the lackadaisical manor in which she is handled. It would be hilarious if it weren’t so bad. They practically beg her and Wickham to interfere.
Their ( our heroes) safety isn’t taken seriously the Bodyguards are always too far away to help anyway!
This story is a farce and has nothing to do with P&P.

If I needed bodyguards I wouldn’t let Darcy and Col F. organize them!
