Anschaulicher Gesamtüberlick zu Theorie und Praxis
Das Hörbuch eignet sich gut als Einstieg um einen umfassenden Einblick in das Integrale Modell zu bekommen. Inhaltlich ist es ein Genuß zuzuhören - die Tonqualität an sich ist eher schlecht. Für Hörer, die mit dem Englischen nicht ganz sicher sind, lohnt es sich die Sprechgeschwindigkeit auf 75 % zu stellen. Dann wird es viel leichter. Die Interviewerin stellt unheimlich gute Fragen und Nachfragen zum Verständnis und zu konkreten Anwendung. Mir gefällt das Kapitel "Basic Moral Intuition" besonders gut. Regt zum Nachdenken an.

Miserable Audio Codec. Speaker and Content excelen
Unfortunately there is no "Audio Quality" Stars to give. So I voted one Star for Speaker menanig: It has a miserable Audio Codec with lots of artifact and terrible Hights like in the former times of "real audio" if you remember. The Interview itself is good and profound, but I couldnt stand listening to it till the end because of the Audio. Please fix this! Not accaptable for a paid offer!

Big picture in a new dimension
In a dualistic western culture with once again increasing tendencies towards exclusion and extremes, the "Integral Model" brings clarity to the chaos of our confused opinion centered minds. Instead of basing our judgement on one or two things while neglecting, ignoring or attacking the rest, it draws a map of how everything is interconnected and how different approaches exist next to each other. It a clear, yet complex, manual on how to grow and thrive as person, society and species with a shift from egocentric and ethnocentric to a worldcentric domain.
The content is challenging for sure, the repeat button on certain occasions key, notes and letting things sink helpful. The first two chapters are a struggle for a person like me with no Ken Wilber background (haven't read a single book yet), but pleasantly rewarding after. To me a mind opening experience, connecting some dots carrying question marks for long and very much resonating with my personal perception of the worlds mechanics

Light-hearted and profoundly deep
Tami Simon interviews Ken Wilber. I have seen them both at the Celebrate Life Festival in Germany, and now tremendously enjoyed this earlier exchange. It is an easy entry to Integral Theory in a much complementary way to Wilber's books. If you are just starting out with Integral, do it with this interview. And pay attention to the culinary line of development!

Comprehensive overview of integral theory
In a multi-session interview with Sounds True’s Tami Simon, Ken Wilber very eloquently explains his “AQAL” integral theory of quadrants, stages, lines, states and types. I like the question and (long) answer format. My favorite audiobook of the year. Highly recommend for anyone interested in no-nonsense psycho-spiritual development.
