Am relevantesten
Deborah White spins an exciting and riveting tale. Besides that, she creates imperfect protagonists who exhibit many virtues. I especially appreciated the way she showed the self-destructiveness of bitterness. Penny has real emotional reactions to injustices, but she chooses kindness and forgiveness. I love a story that champions kindness and not vengeance.

I love fairytale retellings, and this one keeps close to the orginal, but is also easy and refreshing to listen to. It's a story where you know the end to, and yet to want to get to know the characters and accopmany them on this well-known journey.
