Two good normal people, who aren't perfect, but perfect for each other come together. Suspension of disbelief is necessary throughout the book, when in comes to the "curse". But if you can manage that, it is fun. I had several laugh out loud moments. The characters are all very likeable.

Sweet story of Millie and Luc. Millie closed herself to a potential love after the death of her parents. She is doing her best to raise her sibling. Luc, my favorite gentleman, is coming into Millie‘s life, ready to love her, and help raise her siblings. Total package

I am sucker for found family stories. There are some funny moments, also heartfelt too. The moments of siblings grieving their parents moved me.

it's a lovely romance. no complaints. there are a few instances where the Spanish spoken isn't translated, but it does not hinder me in understanding the sentiment

I'm not sure what happened, but the first 60% of the audiobook was amazing.
I enjoyed the story.
The narrators were a bit "stiff."
Not much emotion, just reading the story, but it was ok 😬💁🏻‍♀️
After 60%, the story got a bit more intense, but the narrators didn't.

Nope, it was like a report of a bedroom story 😂 and not erotic 😉

I switched to reading, and it was much better.
Listening about erotic scenes narrated by these two was terrible. 🙈
Sorry, but I cringed so much that my hubby asked what was wrong with me. 😂
This audiobook is an example of how incorrect narration can ruin "some" scenes and the book, of course. 🤣

But back to the story, I really enjoyed it.
It's a sweet and swoony romance with many dramatic events and traumatic encounters.
The main characters are just unbelievably lovable and met each other during their most difficult times.
I can't write more without spoilers, but if you like sweet, dreamy, and swoony books, this is the one for you.

The audiobook is free on Audible, but I also recommend the ebook. 😉

The storyline was refreshing and the characters believable and mostly relatable. The female voice was really robotic with AI-like intonation, really annoying (checked online whether Em Eldridge was an AI-generated voice, apparently not. Interview I found with Em Eldridge did not match this recording); played those chapters at 1.5 speed, which made it tolerable. The male voice actor was really good :)

Die Geschichte ist sehr vorhersehbar, erfüllt aber alle Erwartungen an eine leichte Sommerlektüre. Eine chaotische Familie, Drama und ein Happy End.
Die Sprecherin ist furchtbar hölzern. Verblüffenderweise ist sie besser, wenn sie den männlichen Part spricht!?! Der Sprecher ist gut.

Die Geschichte ist okay. Die Sprecher sind unterschiedlich glaubwürdig.
