It was a wild ride - I was annoyed numerous times with both of them for being dumb. But that's kinda the beauty and the bummer of humanity. The ending could have been more satisfying, if our hero would have made sure to eliminate any doubts about her being second best and our heroine loving herself a little bit more. But that's real difficult to do, so I guess it was good enough.
