Athan's style is free of judgement, shows even the dark spots of those who are the victims in his stories.

To be most accurate he even delves into regions of possible knowledge about a theme he himself only endures with a very good dose of mentally and emotionally compartmentalisation skills.
Athan's stories are never easy to "digest". Especially when you have any sense of empathy and even harder when you - on top of that - are a parent who loves their children.
In such cases like e.g. "In bad hands" and "The Groomer" it's really really hard to endure the enfolding horror.
But for the sake of opening our eyes for the absolutely realistic world of human evil his stories are without a doubt important.
PLEASE: Take the warnings of caution about parts of the content seriously.
Definitely not for the faint of heart. But unfortunately a horriffic possible scenario in our world today.
