This book read by Pandora Sykes herself is such a gem! One of those books, that are much better as an audiobook than as a print. The author analyses different tendencies in our modern society through the lenses of feminism and through her experience as a millennial. Though some of the topics may be a bit heavy at times, it reminded me a fun podcast or a chat with an old friend. Overall a good book, beautifully written and narrated by an author with a great sense of humor and wit! ♥️

Beautifully written and narrated

I’ve really enjoyed this audiobook, from beginning to end. Having listened to the ‚The High Low‘, read Dolly Aldertons books, I couldn’t wait to read Pandora Sykes Essays. It didn’t feel like cheating, as I listened to it first.
I love the way she examines all the complicated constructions around and within us. It gave me a feeling of ease, which I often do not feel about all the topics she spoke about.
And furthermore, I recommended this audiobook to a friend, who will love it, I am sure, because of all the research and facts Pandora creates her arguments on.

It’s very relatable
