The author had many ideas, but I'm not sure if they all fit together. The main vilain was disappointing to say the least. And truth be told, the MMC had no business helping the FMC... I wasn't sold on the retribution logic. Overall, I'm not sure if I liked the FMC's personality, and maybe that's my problem with the book.
