I couldn't even go through the first chapter without hearing the author's bias screaming in my ears. I may not be a big fan of the Ottoman's oppressive rule, but to hear the author call th barbarian is simply unacceptable. It's amazing how such authors manage to make even a book about the Ottomans a story about Christian European nations. I will try to return this book hoping I will find something actually about the history of the Ottomans rather than impressions of a western guy.
