I'm not the obvious choice to run Burlington's coolest wine bar—quiet, brooding, clueless about tannin content, and always one wrong turn away from another downward spiral.

Again, I needed to get used to the narrators, but once I did, I loved them.

Both MCs are men of few words, but the story is very deep, on a psychological level. I liked how it showed how hard it is to communicate, even if you try.

The story has a VERY different vibe than the first in this series.

Ich finde die Summen passen die Stimmen nicht zu den Charakteren. Vor allem Jax Stimme passt nicht, sie klingt viel zu alt. Der Akzent macht die Sache generell spannend aber auch das killt an der ein oder anderen Stelle die Stimmung.

Die Charaktere haben mehr als genug Tiefe. Dafür kommen die 🌶️ Szenen einfach zu kurz. Und während es bei anderen Büchern schnell zur Sache geht lässt hier einiges auf sich warten.

Ich finde ab und an ist auch die Tonqualität schlecht.

Alles in allem eher mittelmäßig.
