The compiler is obviously a great admirer of Lovecrafts work. But he is not a good choice for reading his own work or the words of Lovecraft. His „soulful“, almost reverend, way of reading, scares away any remote feeling of horror. If you need something to fall asleep, use this. If your looking for a creepy story, pick up any other version.

A Love gone wrong

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Die Geschichten sind meistens großartig, leider ist es die Lesung nicht. Der Sprecher fällt oft in einen Singsang, wohl um den teilweise (alp-) traumhaften Thema der Geschichten zu entsprechen. Bei der letzten großen Geschichte "The silver key" (die tatsächlich in der Traumwelt spielt) konnte ich der Geschichte einfach nicht mehr folgen: die Art und Weise der Lesung lullte mich zuverlässig ein...
