After suffering from two years of dissension, antagonism, and excessive and blatant passive-aggressive behavior, the Lord of the Church delivered the young pastor and the congregation. He delivered them through the teaching of the Word. He delivered them in answer to their prayers for mercy and grace. He delivered them through his means of grace; the Word and the Lord's Supper.
This book is about the work of god in a small inner-city congregation in the Northland of Minnesota. This book is about how Jesus, god's only-begotten son, unites Christians in his name. It is about his love for Christians and the mercy he extends to them in their lives. This book is about bearing witness, which is, testifying to the world about Jesus as the savior of the world. It is about forgiveness; god's forgiveness for the sinner, and also the sinners forgiving one another.
