Autumn LaRosa has been playing defense since the moment she met Julius Cunningham. After accepting a position as a meteorologist in Portland, she strives to make a good first impression. I was so confused for a big chunk of the book because the author writes about a lot of the side characters as if we (the listeners) are supposed to know them from somewhere, even though this is the first book in the series. after some digging I found out that there is another series of books where all these side characters originated. however, since I didn't read those books it was very annoying how much time was spend on the side characters throughout the book.
