This audiobook really took me by surprise.

I had the book in my wish list for quite some time before downloading it and I absolutely loved it.

The author takes you through her long days and nights as a volunteer in mountain rescue. Each chapter is a different story, all tied together by what it means to be a mother, wife, mountain rescuer and trying to re-enter the work force all at the same time.

The book is beautifully written and comes across as very authentic.

It truly opened my eyes to the phenomenal and important work rescue volunteers are doing in the mountains and wilderness areas worldwide.

You don’t have to be a climber to enjoy this. 10/10 recommend.
