I am not really in to sports romances so it was good that the sports been more a theme than a part of the story. You will get a small town dynamics an a heartwarming story starting perfectly slow. It got a bit long in the end, it felt like the story had many epilogues. I am excited to read the second book

This is a simple feel good story! From the premise, I expected to be underwhelmed and really there’s not a lot of drama or an exciting plot. Instead it’s a sweet story that, even though downright silly at times, somehow has depth and lovely characters with actual chemistry. After not finishing quite a few romances recently, this got me out of my slump. Will be looking for more from Daryl Banner. He hasn’t disappointed me yet.
