Schade, dass es dieses Buch erst nach The Sword of Shannara gab. Es wäre super gewesen, die Vorgeschichte auch komplett vorher zu kennen. So ist das Buch zwar trotzdem lesenswert, aber man kennt ja mehr oder weniger schon die Geschichte. Was Terry Brooks aber auf jeden Fall schafft, ist die Integration von Personen in die Geschichte, die später nie wieder eine Erwähnung finden. Er erklärt diese Tatsache sehr gut. Es mußte auch offensichtlich sein, dass nicht alle Druiden umgebracht wurden, sondern dass es ein paar geschafft haben zu fliehen. Meine Empfehlung: Auf jeden Fall lesen/hören.
