Das war das erste Buch von McFarlane, das ich gehört habe. Ich fand es klasse! Nachdem mich die neueren Romane von Susan Elizabeth Phillips mehr als nur enttäuscht haben, habe ich nun wieder eine Autorin gefunden, die leichten Sommerspaß verspricht.

Ich kann euch das Buch nur empfehlen.
Ja die Sprecherin ist am Anfang nicht ganz überzeugend aber das Buch steht für sich selbst. Es hat Tiefsinn, Ironie und einige Lacher zu bieten.
Es behandelt Themen die euch überraschen werden. Und sicherlich nachdenklich stimmen.

Loved the voice of Madeline and how she read it. I liked the story very much ("titts, titts, yellow" got me loughing for 5 minutes straight!!), but I would have wanted a little more "Lucas and Gina"-Time at the end (Maybe an Epilogue or something). The end was a little too cut off and I was a tad bit disapointed about that. That's why I can only give 4 stars...But hey: Complaining, that it was too short at the end is really a compliment :D Thanks for this sweet piece of literature!
