Über diesen Titel

I just moved in with my billionaire best friend (and secret crush), Oliver Humphries.

He’s the all-star. The jock. The golden boy.

And I’m no match.

I’m the nerdy, frizzy-haired, not-so-skinny friend.

The moment I met him at 14, I was in L-O-V-E.

I’m under no illusion I stand a chance.

Living with him?

Not a problem.

In fact, it’s a brilliant idea. I’m good at hiding my feelings.

Until I play “Truth or Dare” with him.

Oh, good grief!

Did I just tell him I want him to be my first?

A sexy friends-to-lovers romance from USA Today best-selling author Jolie Day! Come see what happens when the alpha male and the geeky girl next door collide. Literally. Stand-alone romance, no cliff-hanger. Jolie Day is team HEA.

I liked this book, but unfortunately there were some aspects I found a little annoying so I couldn't completely let go and enjoy. First of all, I found the virgin trope and especially the billionaire trope unnecessary, since the story would have worked just the same without both of them. Second, I really don't wanna read about a gorgeous, sexy, curvy adult female character anymore, who is insecure because of her curves. Teenage girls, okay, I buy it. But Laney is a 26 year old woman. It also annoyed me that she loved Oliver for twelve looooong years in which he manwhored his way through NY and never saw anything more but a friend in her. I really wanted to shake the woman several times and scream at her to grow the f*ck up and let go or tell him already about her feelings. I was also not a big fan of Oliver who was an idiot for the first half of the book. Then again, he didn't know about Laneys feelings and therefore, he didn't really do anything wrong. Also, the male narrator managed to read Oliver in a way that made me like him, which makes me say that I am glad I listened to the audiobook. The narrators came to the rescue and saved story and characters - especially Jason Clarke, whom I am now officially a fan of. :-) Overall, the book is sweet and a nice read, but in my opinion the weakest in this series with a weak female lead.

Nice, but slightly annoying
