I found neither the story nor the characters particularly exciting, gripping or convincing. I expected a detailed story about witchcraft, the reasons why Brida wanted to become a witch and details on what she planned to achieve in real life. This book is only about the finding process, and about soul mates. I was missing the part that I would have found interesting. So, I guess the bottom line for me is that Paulo Coelho's writing style simple is not for me...
