Am relevantesten

Durchgehend spannend wie auch die anderen Titel der Serie. Natürlich wiederholen sich gewisse Sequenzen nach so vielen Folgen, aber ich fand das nicht störend. Toller Erzähler! Ich liebe Peter Nobels Art, die Charaktere lebendig werden zu lassen. Besonders „Viktors“ tiefe, ruhige Stimme find ich sehr passend.

Having read some negative reviews, I'm not dissatisfied after listening to Blood Debt a while later. Granted, there is that danger to take the "best battle is the one you don't have to fight" idea too far, while relegating the old school close quarter combat action to pulp fiction scenes.

This time Victor takes on a new role as an investigator and teams up with another assassin. Excellently told and read!

Nothing new, nothing interesting, no fascinating characters, no great adventures, no funny scenes, no trace of the old elegant Victor. Victor's endless lecturing speeches about everything and nothing in this book shocked me the most. He went on and on and on in situations talking his head off where it did not fit at all.
The whole plot was tedious. Lame mafia storyline and pages of senseless background information and side stories. I am so sorry to say that this Victor is not my charming and fascinating assassin anymore.

Furthermore, the narrator Peter Noble has a strange way of reading. I tried it so many times to like it but I just can't. Since book 7 it has gone south with the books and the narration. To me, this was the last Victor.

It's over for Victor, I suppose.
